The new event location in Berlin-Kreuzberg: The multifunctional rooms with their unique architecture offer space for up to 210 people. From customer events, presentations, meetings, conferences and workshops to receptions and exhibitions – anything is possible here.
Location
At the top of Berlin: On the slope of Kreuzberg hill in Methfesselstrasse. Right next to the colourful Bergmann-Kiez neighbourhood and within walking distance of the Platz der Luftbrücke and Mehringdamm underground stations.
Why Chapel & Pool?
In 1967, the Berlin architect Johannes Jackel erected an unusual building for the Catholic organisation “Kolping Society” on the slope of Kreuzberg hill. The dominant materials are concrete, slate and glass. Since its inauguration in 1970, the building has undergone numerous changes in use. From a Catholic residential home and an education centre to a co-working and co-living space.
From February 1st, 2024, the former chapel and the converted indoor pool, together with meeting, reception and conference rooms, can be booked as a new event location.
The Chapel
The perfectly furnished and technically equipped space for conferences, meetings, presentations and receptions. The unusual architecture of the room keeps the focus on the stage and screen. Everyone has a perfect view of the stage wherever they are sitting. The large windows provide a view of the garden, while the terraces are perfect for breaks and socializing outdoors.
